Brrrr, It's Cold In Here!*
It's about that time of year where I drink hot chocolate about once a day. You think I'm exaggerating, but I had it twice yesterday. Now, we all know that the best hot chocolate to be had is at the gas station. What, you didn't know? Well, it's true. And what makes it so delicious are all those delightfully flavored coffee creamers. You didn't know that part either? Don't worry, my rock-star husband was also not aware. And if you're making your hot chocolate at home, but wishing it was as delicious as the stuff at 7-11, fret no more! You can get the coffee creamers at Wal-Mart (or probably any other mart for that matter). They even have boxes of the little single servings like at the gas station. My favorite flavors are french vanilla and hazelnut. I recommend you use two per mug, but that is of course based on my mugs. You might need more than that if your mugs are bigger than mine. Now go have some! You can thank me later.

I'll have to try that. When it gets cold here I mean.
How funny-I just blogged about hot chocolate too! You should check out my blog-I have a great recommendation to add to those yummy mugs of hot chocolate. You will thank ME later! :)
you're funny. i agree, the gas station hot chocolate is so much better! HOWEVER have you ever heard of the Cocomotion (bed bath and beyond)...and that makes REALLY good...josh LOVES it...so there ya go. Probably more than you wanted to know but whatev. I hope you are feeling better, I miss you at work...and today was not a good day. UGH don't ask.
I've just started buying the big #10 cans of cocoa from the Mesa Cannery and I'll say it's pretting good. I think I might just try your additive idea.
There must be some Toros in the atmoshphere! Bring It On, baby!
I am so cool.
Karla gets the cool points!
Once upon a time I had a notion to use those great flavored coffee creamers until I read the label and realized how many calories they add to a simple mug of sugar free hot chocolate.
Ang, I have been using creamers in my cocoa for several years & I always look forward to the holiday season for their "special" flavors. Right now our fridge sports "Caramel Apple" and "Peppermint Mocha". They are super yum. I get them in the refridgerator section at Frys.
FYI for mom, they add 35 calories per TBSP which I think is worth it, but they are made out of very unhealthy stuff.
Also, I am a nerd and don't get your reference OR Karla's reference to your reference.
Can I get points for something else?
Becky, you get cool points by being related to me! jk, You're awesome, totally independent of me.
okay so I made a special trip to buy some creamer this morning, I'm about to try it out. I'll report on the awesomeness.
