I'm looking for a teacher...
I've been admiring a lot of hand embroidered things lately, and I want to learn how. Does anyone know how to embroider? I mean, it seems like it's probably pretty self explanatory, but you never know.

I could show you how to embroider. Don't ask me how to crochet, at least yet anyways. I am going to learn how, but I could embroider those little figures in the example.

it was so fun to meet your friend Tami- we had a great time. Thanks for the connection! I'm with you on the hand embroidery and I don't know how, but would like to learn, however, I just watched an episode of Martha Stewart (I think it aired last fall) about a girl who does freehand embroidery on her sewing machine. It looked pretty easy and really cool to be able to do all sorts of designs. I'll check out her site and see if I can find a link for you. I'm gonna try it soon and see how it works.
