Yeah! Tastespotting is back! It's been down for a couple weeks for reasons that remain mysterious, but it's back now and that's all that matters.

It Totally Worked!

The good news is buying a place in the showcase was totally worth it, because I sold my first necklace this weekend! Yippie!

I'm looking for a teacher...

I've been admiring a lot of hand embroidered things lately, and I want to learn how. Does anyone know how to embroider? I mean, it seems like it's probably pretty self explanatory, but you never know.

Going Once, Twice, and Sold!

Last night I was in charge of a service auction at church. I was able to make some cute auction paddles with the help of Karla, who loaned me her Martha Stewart stamps. I might have to buy some myself!
I also made a few items to put up for bid: a Chocolate Cheesecake, a Plain Cheesecake, and a pair of earrings (and Michelle was the lucky winner of the earrings!).

Bad News, Good News

So the bad news is all of the listings in my etsy shop expired. The good news is I re-listed everything (it's 20 cents a listing, who could pass that up?), and I added a few new listings. Feel free to check it out, and tell your friends!
